The new website

Here is the first of what I’ll try to make a monthly (or so) blog. I am excited about this brand new website for the American Karate and Tae Kwon Do Organization. I have been working on the design for quite some time and when I discovered the program called “Rapidweaver” it was time to finally do it. As you may or may not know, I am a professional graphic designer in my other, non-martial arts, career. But I don’t know HTML or how to build a website (our first one was done by my son, Rodney, when he was still in high school). By the way he is just about finished with his four-year commitment in the U.S. Navy and will be out of the military in three weeks. Anyway, Rapidweaver lets you build a site without having to know HTML. So here it is. Let me know what you think. Oh, and I want to thank Kathy Rhine for her great help in keeping up with the original site. I am sure I will continue to use her as well as Rodney to keep things up to date and looking good. This is your AKaTo home so please contribute and we can make this a community for the greater martial arts.
